I listened to the melodic hum of the water traversing the valleys. A certain vigilance was called for at this sacred place, met with an undertone of softness that emanated beneath the surface.
The lore and language of the land carried varying ranges of vast energy, each chapter of it’s storyline I walked through incomparable to the last. Deep portals of electric indigo water sang as it spiralled within stone hollows.
The aura of this place appeared ultraviolet like the wings of Alcides Metaurus, the Zodiac Moth I found floating inside a small pocket of rocks, a welcome to the waterhole. This felt to be a totemic symbol, colours which too could be observed in the surroundings of Babinda Boulders.
The first and a favourite location from the adventure up the coast of Aus. We walked upstream, around the bends, over boulders and under fallen canopies. Climbed nature forts, admired forest adorned sandy banks and mustard-lime coloured creek reflections, constantly surprised by the beauty that kept unravelling. We danced and OM’d our way into unknown territories, hoping the name of our destination held no significance🐊
As I integrate the journey into my daily routine the potency of the healing reveals in the softer subtleties of reality. Such soothingclearcleansing fresh water worked wonders for my inner world. Feeling a sense of fluidity energetically, seeing the ripples of this mostly in my internal approach to seemingly mundane aspects of everyday life along with an abundance of renewed creativity. Full acceptance for what is, trusting the flow and process.
We journeyed far into the wilderness of Far North Queensland. The experience is so far unparalleled to any other I’ve had, pockets of paradise woven throughout ancient lands, two of the worlds natural wonders melt in union. My faith has been renewed by the genuine warmth in the eyes and hearts of people we met who welcomed us into their communities.
Taking some time away, creating the space to immerse myself in prayer within the elements has been so rejuvenating for my spirit. Feeling the reciprocity and nourishment as the land received our offerings.
In the peak of my bliss and personal freedom, I was conscious not to be negligent to the happenings on the planet, supporting from afar and contributing to organisations on the front lines.
I am also at the point in my life after much trauma and suffering where I am not willing to compromise my peace and health by buying into fear or holding back from enjoying and basking in the richness of life. It is only from this place of spiritual abundance, by being resourceful and still within my inner world, that I have the capacity to be of service to the people and the planet.

A sweet prayer for the Amazon
-
Amazonia
My heart is bound to yours
To those who tend to the seeds and safe guard the waters of life
The record keepers, wise ones, warriors who walk in ceremony weaving their ancient sacred ways
And carry the codes within their culture
For us to awaken, to remember
Guardians that dance in prayer
The holiest of unions, with feet that kiss the soil
Who carry the forest in their cells and offer it the water of their bodies
My tears rain rivers that flow
As does your blood
I too wear a skin worn and fractured like the land
They say the wound is where the light enters
Seeping into the place within where we are Inextricably connected to one another
We are kin, one of the same
Born of the elements
The red thread, the lineage that runs through all things, all beings
...
You are not alone
...
So if you are to fall, if trees are to come down I too shall burn
I will hold you tender and pray that your spirit will rise from the ashes
That humanity too can grow
Welcoming in a new dawn
And as I bow
I ask that you guide me on the path that would see your pain set free
So we may once again
Breathe
