Who’s Behind The Site?

What do you want to know? If you’re anything like me, the answer will be “loads!” LOL.

I find one of the best traits of ADHD is being inherently curious. Yes, it’s got me into trouble in the past, because what’s important for me to know isn’t necessarily important to other people. But why be a sheep and follow the herd (flock)?

I’m an avid reader. I love witchy fiction and cozy mysteries. I try and read self-help and self-improvement books, but my attention often wanders, because… ADHD. Then I forget about them for weeks… months… years at a time. When I go back to them I have to start again, because I’ve forgotten where I was up to. Then re-reading it again gets boring, because it’s not new and fresh <sigh>.

I collect tarot and oracle decks. Partly because I’m acquisitive, partly because I feel I need them at my fingertips in case I decide one of them is THE deck that I want to work with in that moment. And partly because of my still-unfinished story about my tarot card reader Lori and her lack of a love life.

Yeah, I’m a writer too. Didn’t you work that out? But in general I do it for my own entertainment. I guess this website counts as that too <wink>. But I’m going to put some of Lori’s story up here soon, to see if she wants me to get on with it.

As for the tarot cards: I am a Certified Angel Tarot Reader, having studied and completed Radleigh Valentine’s course. I got great feedback from my practice clients and have since moved on to offering three card readings via email as a paid service. If you’re interested, you’ll find that on my Services page. I need to put my Testimonials together, too.

Something else Radleigh has done for me is kindled an interest in learning more about angels, which is going to be something on my Connecting With Spirit page in the near future. As will other ways of contacting and working with Spirit. No point being a Scribe of Spirit and not allowing them to work through me, right?

As someone with significant working memory problems, anything along these lines that I do MUST be intuitive rather than something to learn by rote. My brain doesn’t like that sort of thing.

Oh, you want the dull stuff too? OK. I’m from the UK, with three grown-up kids who’ve all left home, two indoor cats, and one very tolerant husband who probably wishes I’d go and get a “normal” job. Even though he knows I wouldn’t be happy doing it…

My word for this year is COLLABORATION and I want to learn how to draw, because I have ideas for five tarot decks. I’m such a control freak that I don’t know if anyone else could draw my cards close enough to my vision for me to be happy with them.
